Running for Dana-Farber

Each year for the past six years, I have run a race for the Jimmy Fund to support the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. This past year, my team and I ran Reach the Beach in New Hampshire, which is a 200-mile relay race from the beautiful mountains of New Hampshire to Hampton Beach. My personal fundraising was $3300, bringing my total to date to over $12,000! I will be running again in 2017, and will be adding my Uncle Johnnie to the list of those who have fought cancer. He passed away in January. I have also lost my Uncle Dickie, Uncle Ronald, and my Papa to cancer. I will not stop running and fighting until we have found a cure for this evil disease!
